After mutual friends decided CC and James were perfect for each other, the two were finally introduced for the first time on Feb 12, 2023, at a Superbowl party after several failed attempts where our love birds repeatedly missed crossing paths.

That night, sparks flew! Numbers were exchanged the next day with the first date set for the following Saturday night.

They originally planned to go F-1 racing, but our intrepid love birds decided that margs and monster trucks were a more fitting first date!

CC’s reaction to monster trucks entering the DCU center was completely unfiltered. Anyone who has met CC understands that this means she unleashed a pure ball of energy. James immediately knew that this woman was someone special. And within 20 minutes of taking their seats, they shared their first kiss.

Two days later, they met at a Speakeasy themed bar and the date lasted for 4 hours. After the date, James called his mother to say "Mom, I think I just had dinner with my wife."

In July 2023, CC traveled to Scotland for 2 weeks and the time apart drove them both crazy. James knew that he wanted to share the rest of his life with CC, so he and his best friend started looking at rings.

In August of 2023, they went on a weeklong vacation to Utah and Arizona, where under the Milky Way, on top of a mountain at 3am, James popped the question.

And here we are today……
